The Trojans hung a whopping 9 more points on Nebraska than Ball State did today.

    Pundits - discuss.

Football gods, please let USC stay undefeated so we can demolish them in front of the world in a few months!

Wake Forest ran for 200+ yds on Nebraska, so when USC's passing game wasn't doing much I didn't find it surprising that they were able to run the ball. The Nebraska win scored well with voters because of the history there, but the reality is they are lot like Tennessee this year, that is pretty soft on D.

    • Speaking of horrendous defenses, top-ranked USC’s “statement” against Nebraska last week suddenly seems far less spectacular considering what Ball State did to the Huskers on Saturday. The Cardinals – whom, you may recall, gave Michigan fits last year – rolled up 606 yards of offense (including 424 passing yards by QB Nate Davis) and came within a long last-second field goal (and dropped last-second touchdown pass) of knocking off the Huskers in Lincoln. Nebraska has allowed 89 points the past two weeks. Best of luck against Missouri’s Chase Daniel in two weeks.

It won't even be mentioned. Only LSU plays overrated opposition.

Wow, I did not realize that.

I am sick and f'ing tired of them (USC) getting primetime coverage on ABC every Saturday night even when they are playing cupcakes like washington state.

I think their #1 votes should be increased. USC will have to overcome the adversity all season of knowing that their blowout win at Nebraska was tarnished by a MAC team.

Like I said. Our Buddy, Mark May, moved OU into 2nd because of what Miami did to A&M. As usual, the Condoms were rubber stamped into #1 with no comment.

I have to stop watching ESPN's postgame show. I'm going to lose a tv if I don't.

They built up Nebraska to be this team on the rise before last week's game. Yeah, we see how they are on the rise. Pathetic.

OU trounces a defenseless Tulsa team and now they are great. I won't be surprised to see them jump Florida in the polls.

Oh well. All we can do is keep winning.
