Sanchez, who won the starting job in the spring, fell to the ground before the Trojans began stretching exercises. A witness reported seeing Sanchez doing a carioca shuffle. He then went to throw a football, put weight on his left knee and collapsed. Sanchez was helped to the trainers' table, where ice was administered and his jersey and shoulder pads were removed. He was then carted to the locker room and was then taken for x-rays. Sanchez, a 6-foot-3, 225-pound junior from Mission Viejo, appeared in seven games last season, including three starts in place of the injured John David Booty. He finished having completed 69 of 114 passes for 695 yards and seven touchdowns with five interceptions.
I don't like USC but I hate seeing players get hurt. These kids work hard to have an opportunity to play and it's sad to see them on the bench as a result of an injury. Hopefully he'll be healthy enough to get whacked against Ohio State! :hihi:
I could care less for USC but it sucks for Sanchez if he is really hurt. He has waited for his turn to play. Hopefully it's minor and he still can.
Why in the hell was he singing and shuffling at the same time? Sounds like a ACL tear waiting to happen.
He should have known that doing 2 things at once would mean an injury to him. I wonder where espn will rank them now? 3rd?
