Fresno State in a dogfight with perrenial powerhouse Nevada.
FS just took lead 27-24 on a bad call, early in the 4th.
USC can be beat, Keys to beating SC, take out Bush and Leinert early with the LaRon treatment.
Too bad Texas will get pWnd.
To be fair, OU had no business being in the :crystal: with us in '03, USC did.
Reggie Bush for Heisman, awesome. Wins games for SoCal by himself.

update: Nevada takes the lead31-27 with 8:12 left in the game.

Wow, did anyone catch the end of this game? Nevada running out the clock, up 38-35.... They did a couple run plays instead of taking a knee to run out the clock. The running back busted it up the middle and was gone for a td.. With nobody within 10-15 yard of him, he stopped and knelt on the one yard line so that his team could line up the next play and kneel to run out the clock. Talk about unselfish!

Fresno State Loses, Nevada player falls down on 1 yd line?

That was the most selfless, team oriented play ive ever seen in sports.

awesome.... I can't even fathom that last play...

So they were up by three and he knelt on the one so they could run out the clock? How much time was left? Why not just score and the game is out of reach anyway?

**Sabanfan, I am not whining or bitching, just haven't seen the play yet and I am curious.

Coach said they did not need more points. Apparently the player felt the same way.

Nevada player breaks loose and has a clear run to the endzone, then falls down on purpose, so to have a 1st and goal, where the qb justs kneels the rest of the time out... just a heads up, unselfish play...

they would have been up by 10 with 45 seconds left...

hah, maybe he just wanted the game to end right then and there...

    again, heads up play...

How ironic ....... a superb example of sportsmanship becomes a magnet for national attention to Fresno's lameness, helping shape national opinion of how overhyped and human this USC team really is. How's that for cicular logic?

Uuuhhh, no. Your point is valid..... USC has a great offense, but their D can be had. But the way to beat USC is to run the ball down their throats for four solid quarters. Nothing against Landry, but IMO there is no DB nationally that is likely to intimidate Reggie Bush.
