My guess is they only lose 10-15 first place votes, keeping them in the top spot with room to spare.

    Sad....very sad.

It doesn't help that OU did not play this weekend and blow somebody out.

Just as if LSU would squeak by Vanderbilt... surely LSU would drop but USC is the 'teflon team' in the NCAA and everything they do is perfect.... It will catch up to them at some point during this season..

I don't have a problem with them being number 1, they are clearly #1 caliber. USC would beat us soundly right now. By the end of the year, I'll have to re-evaluate our play...but right now we would get beat by USC.

Hell Stanford did NOTHING in the second half.

USC will be solidly in 1st place but this may have been a good week for OU to play and win big to close the gap. This week will be forgotten about soon. And if the guy announcing for TBS has anything to do with it USC will be #1 for the rest of his life. :dis:

That missed extra point might drop us to #14.

Not sure I agree with that. Offense appears to be coming around and our D would give them some problems.

Just like USC to put O.J. Simpson into the game! :hihi:

  8. The only thing I hear commentators saying after the USC game last night was how resilient and gutsy USC was to stay in the game and overcome being the hunted team. Typical.

You guys are delusional :) OU and USC would beat us right now, and a few others. Don't be bedazzled by the opponents we're beating, I bet Nick Saban would agree with me had he the need to tell the truth. Now...fast forward to week 10...I bet we'll have progressed to the point that we catch up to anyone then. We don't have the cohesiveness and execution we need right now - but it will come.

  10. I dont think that we would beat USC right now, my point is that the media is redicilous with their biases.
