Hey everyone - big LSU fan here in Iowa that is extremely excited about seeing his first game in Tiger Stadium this fall when they play Va Tech! I've got my hotel room booked (staying by the airport to save a little $$$ so I can spend more on tix) and am now starting my search in earnest for tix. I'm seeing more for sale now which is a great thing - my question for you is, "What sections should I consider in order to really appreciate the game experience?" I'm wanting to be in the lower tier and am seeing more and more tickets available in the 100, 200, 300 and 400 series... Is the South endzone more fun than the North? West side better than East?? Obviously, if push comes to shove all that really matters is that I'm there but I want to be in the middle of as much fun and excitement as I can!! I realize my questions might be a little vague but any help would certainly be appreciated Strange story about a Va Tech fan - I'm in the midst of selling my home and last night a family came by to see it and they had Virginia license plates on their vehicle. I proceeded to ask them if they were Hokie or Cavalier fans and they proudly replied they were Hokie fans! Well, it was pleasant to talk a little trash with them about the big game this fall! I'm not sure if it will hurt my chances of selling the house to them but I made sure to get my digs in anyway  As we get nearer to game date, I'm sure I'll be asking again for input on tailgating, Friday and Saturday night activities, etc... but in the meantime, your suggestions are most welcome. Thanks! :helmet: :crystal: :champs: :geauxtige
i sit in the south endzone and despite all the rumors about how great it is there...it's just rumor. i hear more "sit down!" than "geaux tigers"
I would go in this order based on avaliblity and what you can afford. West sideline East sideline North endzone South endzone East upperdeck West Upperdeck
That is the worst, it's always some old guy and his wife saying "We paid just as much for these tickets, and we want to see the game" Dude, when were down by 3 and it's the 4th quarter I'm gunna stand. Deal with it. If it wasnt so crowded I'd sit in the student section every game.
I thought about taking a year off from school but I didn't want to not have student tickets. So I decided to stay in. Best place to sit in the entire stadium experience-wise. Take a sideline for a great view, though.
Tell the ol bastid and young beyotch you got yours from a scalper. South endzone does suck......relatively speaking, of course, cause it's better than not being there.
