Help me out by giving a thumbs up, subscribing, and sharing on other boards since this is the only LSU board I visit. Thanks for watching and the backs are up next.
Proof there is work to be done. Repetition will fix that. Further proof that JB is the real deal. Does a pretty good job at putting the ball only where receivers can catch it, an even better job at getting rid of the ball and a brilliant job measuring the pocket. The potential is extraordinary considering the passing game can only get better.
Lots of work to improve but we played a good defense and it looks like Joe got more comfortable as the game went on.
Certainly confirms that JB was under a ton of pressure all night. But even when he was pressured, he made good decisions. I am very hopeful.
Definitely have to clean up the pass protection and dropped passes. I thought considering that, along with it being his 1st game, Burrow passed the eye test. Not just by LSU and tOSU fans either, but by much of the college football world.
He really has poise. People say that a lot but he really does. Saavy comes to mind as well with changing plays and drawing the defense in short yardage.
Using that hard count to draw the D offsides is a lost art in college football. Burrow is a real student of the game.
