He will be playing in his second all-star game on friday at 6pm in the Texas vs. The Nation All-Star game. The game will be televised on Cox Sports. Hopefully he will get more touches this time around and get a chance to impress some NFL scouts. :geauxtige http://www.2theadvocate.com/sports/5401081.html
i've said this for a while, and i still think it holds true. JV needs to put on an extra 15-20 and become a FB if he wants to have a chance to play in the NFL. He pass-blocks like no back I can remember, and can catch really well. he could be quite the weapon at FB.
CSTV is College Sports TV, not Cox Sports. Also, kickoff is 8 MST or 9 p.m. Central Time - http://texasvsthenation.cstv.com
Mistake on the channel but I have gone thru about 5 articles that list different times. CSTV website says 7MST, the advocate and LSUsports.net say 6pm, and the website you cited says 8MST . So who knows at this point.
CSTV’s main schedule says 10 EST: http://www.cstv.com/cgi-bin/tvsched.cgi?date=20070202 and my DirecTV guide, channel 610 says 9 central as well. I’m pretty confident that’s the time. I think it was the Arizona game where Ed Cunningham was telling Ron Franklin, here’s why Justin Vincent will play in the NFL. They went on to show and talk about his blocking, pass receiving, and special teams play. He may not have put up the yards lately, but his overall game has gotten more versatile. I sure hope he gets a chance to make it.
That is so true. And blocking like that isn't all size, it's attitude and technique. So he could be a smallish FB, and be a solid special teams contributor as well.
