I voted for today, not only b/c I am a Tiger fan, but b/c unlike BC/UM and CU/Mich, once the catch was made, Henderson also had to run to the end zone and broke a tackle to do it. To me, the only comparison is the Cal/Stanford game from '82? Where they had about 5 pitches on the kickoff return and they had to run through the Stanford band. Today's game was one for the ages, no doubt about it!
There really is on comparison. I loved the Cal- Stanford play but I didn't care who won that game. The Flutie Hail Mary I had bet on Miami. Same for the Immaculate Reception I had bet on the Raiders. The Warren Morris homerun won the College World Series but Moriss had hit home runs before that. Billy Cannon had other great punt returns before the one against Ole Miss, but if Marcus Randall and Devery Henderson play football for a hundred years, either together or separately a play like that will never happen again. They could't even do that in practice
