    The heart of the article:

"Tech's line, with new starters at left guard and right tackle, produced 33 rushing yards (although what's his name had 70 yards) in last Saturday's season opener against East Carolina.

"Both of the Hokies' left guards -- sophomore Richard Graham and junior Matt Welsh split time -- hadn't played significant snaps before Saturday. The other four linemen played the entire game.

"Tech's coaches would like to spell their starters, but two of the three likely backups, redshirt freshman left tackle Aaron Brown and true freshman right tackle Blake DeChristopher, have never played a college down. The third, sophomore right guard Brandon Holland, saw brief mop-up time last season.

"LSU's front seven returned six starters from a unit that last season allowed 97.1 rushing yards per game, 14th-best in the nation. The Tigers held Mississippi State to 10 rushing yards last week."

    ______________

If this is predictive at all, then we will pass a good time on Saturday night, cher.
  2. I think with the lack of O-line talent, LSU will control Time of Possession.Which will keep the VT defense on the field, and very tired.
  3. I'm still of the opinion that we can't judge either team by either prior performance. V Tech is going to play harder versus LSU, and so will LSU. We just don't know. At this time, I believe our only absolute, undeniable advantage for LSU is that of home-field.
