1. all I heard at the stadium tonight was complaining and whining. Arkansas played their bowl game today and we survived. The Hogs wanted to end the year on a positive note and they almost did. We won in spite of not playing the way we are capable. We have a great team, great coaches and a great football tradition. The last 6 years have been the best years in LSU football history. We just had 21 seniors play for the last time at Tiger Stadium and the have won 2 SEC (possible 3) championships and One (possible 2) National Championships. Their are 2 teams that are ranked ahead of us and 114 that would love to be in our spot. I can't believe how many fans left the game early when we were ahead by only 2 points. That is when we should be giving our upmost support to our beloved Tigers, not trying to beat the traffic. Then when I get in the car I hear a bunch of idiots calling and complaining about the play calling, the coaches, the players. This is the state of LSU Football

    We are SEC West Champions
    We are 10-1
We are ranked #3 in the nation
We have a great recruiting class coming in
We have a chance (although very slim) of playing for a NC
We have a great stadium with the best of everything to help the players succeed.

Yes, we run the ball a lot. We are a physical team on both the offense and defensive side of the ball. I love tough physical football that leads to 10 win seasons.

If you don't like the state of LSU football then call up your Tulane, Ole Miss, Arkansas or most any other college team and see if they would like to change players and coaches with us.
  2. could you IMAGINE the possibilities if LSU had a REAL offensive coach???

my god... it could be UNREAL.....
  3. One more thing to be thankful for ..after everything said and done LSU won't play USC or Texas hence no chance of an embarrassing defeat

  4. Squid on crack.
  5. hahaha....

c'mon seriously Devil, if only LSU had a coach that could DEVELOP these guys into even much players than we already have...

If JaMarcus had a "norm chow" to direct him and teach him you don't throw the ball up straight into the air into double coverage....
  6. I'd like to see ANY coach (including Saban) in the country take a team that went through what LSU did at the beginning of this season and do better than Miles did this season. This team could have easily folded after the Tenn lose and be 7-4 right now.
  7. They could've at leats put this game away like Archer did against Ohio St in '87? 3incomplete passes and a punt? took allof what 14 seconds off the clock, allowing OSU to have that final drive to tie the game...Or maybe put this game away like Hallman did against Auburn in '94 3 picks in 4th qtr returned for TDs? Then again maybe on of these guys would've had Russell throw a pick deep in his own territory, allowed Arky to return it to the 2 then have them score a TD, so we could all be b****ing about how he should've just run the ball to kill the clock!
  8. IMO, this team has shown alot of heart this season
  9. JaMarcus is the #2 rated QB in a defensive minded SEC. This is his first year to be the starter. Who has coached him? Who turned Davey around? Who turned Mauk into record breaker? I don't think that there is a school record on the books that a Fisher coached QB doesn't own. Every coach in the NCAA will tell you that Fisher is one of the finest O Corr. in the country. You want talent that is being wasted? Look at Florida.
  10. Most career wins by a starter...Tom Hodson.
    But I'm just nitpicking.
