I was looking at youtube LSU tape and it just got me thinking how blessed we are as LSU fans. For all the students out there you should step back and take this time of your life and cherish it. My love of LSU sports and the passion i have for it comes from the same place where i love my family. I was very lucky growing up with a high school football coach. But even more than that my dad used sports to teach me and my brother life lessons that i use to this day. Never give up. Always give your best then you can live with the outcome. There is no i in team. Be humble . One of my memories that i think about alot as i get older is me, my dad , and my brother laying in front of the console stereo in our house listening to LSU football games together living and dying with the outcome of each play. It was the mid to late sixties and you didnt get to see the tigers on TV as much. Thats why Tommy C. is still my favorite LSU player of all time with Bert J. a close second. Life has changed so much since then but LSU has always been something we could always talk about. Even today when i talk to my dad we go over the LSU teams and how they are doing. Thanks LSU and all of you for making being a Tiger fan something special. Sorry just taking a trip down memory lane. :bncry: :bncry: :bncry:
