....to the dismay of some of the Auburn fans that have come here and pulled for us tonight against 'Bama, for our own protection, I'd like to see UGA beat Auburn, giving them 2 conference loses and then for Auburn to beat 'Bama next week to give the Tide 2 conference loses. JUST in case we have a "let down" next week vs lefire: or Arkansas pulls another "hail marry victory" against us, if LSU! , Auburn and 'Bama are tied with 2 conference loses apiece, we still get win the West based on our head-to-head wins over both of them.
have you seen lefire: play lately? they are saying around here that South Panola could beat them. ( that's a 5A HS team BTW )
Yeah. That's what worries me.... I saw them play early in the '97 season and I thought we'd kick the crap out of them then too following the victory over Florida....
I don't think I want a shot at the SEC Championship if we lose to either Ole Miss or Arkansas. Although your logic is correct, I just as soon just win both games handily and call it a day.
well, LSU has controlled their own destiny all season. no big news. definately want Auburn to lose today and beat Bama. i image having a win over 2 loss Auburn and win over 1 loss UGA is same as win over 1 loss Auburn and 2 loss UGA.
You know, I don't have a problem with that. You beat the best teams in the West on the field; you should be in the SECCG. If you decide to pass on the game, however, we would like to be in position of first runner up to assume the duties and responsibilities of LSU in case they are unable to fulfill their obligations as SEC West Champions. :thumb:
