So we lost 2 games... It's not the end of the world. Let's not forget who we lost these games to. There's Auburn, a team that was picked to be number 1 in the nation preseason last year & folded under the pressure. This year, they are even better than last year and aren't under that pressure. They also demolished a very good, top 10 Tennessee team. There's also Georgia, who were alot of people this seasons preseason number 1 pick. Georgia is a very good team, one that could have beaten almost, if not every, other team in the country on Saturday. Also, both of these were tough SEC road games. Both of teams were embaressed by us last year, and both of them had us on their minds from the very end of last year. We only got ONE week to prepare for them. I guarantee they spent much longer than that preparing for us. Obviously, this is a very young team with alot to learn and there are quite a few things that need to be worked out, but that's all a part of playing the game. These people saying that Nick Saban has been outcoached have a reason to put down their opinions, but try putting it into context. Everybody is gunning for you after a NC, EVERYBODY. And in a conference as hard as the SEC, you can't win them all. And for all you people saying, "oh well, there's always next year." Next year for what?? Another National Championship? And what if we don't get it then? We aren't going to win them every year, or every other year. We just need to go out and play some good football. There is still much of the season to go, and if you have given up on our boys.... I have nothing but disgrace for you.

I appreciate your positive outlook, and

agree no one should give up on this team or the season. I think the concern is the way we've looked in the two games we lost as well as some hangover from the Oregon St. game. Everyone is perplexed as to why the team just isn't clicking the way we all hoped. If we had looked crisp in those games I don't think you'd be hearing as much from the doom and gloom crowd.

I was anticipating a fall-off offensively but the defensive lapses really surprise me. It is frustrating when there are guys in position to make plays and then don't get it done. Last year the D would make those plays consistently. I didn't have any money on the game yesterday, but if someone had forced me to bet I would have picked the 'under' on the O/U line. The fact that Georgia beat that line by themselves totally shocked me.

Cparso, you are exactly right... it doesn't matter who Georgia had played this weekend.......USC, Oklahoma, Miami...or anyone else... with Georgia playing like that they would have won regardless of the opposition.
