We need another Matt @ QB & another Stelz...

In the two years we won the BCS we had an unheralded MATT at QB and a Stelz on the team. When we won it in '58 we had Durel MATtherne playing QB some didn't we? So, maybe that's an omen. Maybe we need to find another Stelz and another Matt. Silly.............I know. Still rather odd.

 

I wonder if RP would consider a change to MP?

I think the point has to be made that both 03 and 07 had a smart, quick white boy leading the offense and the defensive secondary... take it for what its worth...

 

I took it to means when we had a Matt and a Steltz on both teams that won it all. Wasn't there a full back named Steltz on the other Championship team?
