This D scheme sucks major ass. WTF is up with the 10 yard cushion when we are blitzing? Im so pissed i can't even type. WE WILL NOT GO UNDEFEATED ON TALENT ALONE AND WITH THIS D SCHEME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually I did not remember anyone wanting to fire Saban after the UGA defeat. Green was making passes he could have only dreamed of. Defenders were always there it was just UGA making the big plays. The two games were drastically different. We also had a boat load of young guys who now have one year under the belt. Still young but been there. UGA played above themself as seen i the next game when they had nothing left and lost to the Vols if i got the team right. Either way the game against UGA was UGA's shot at team they wanted for one year.
Except when they got their butts handed to them by another high-octane Pac-10 passing offense..... I guess the notion reguarding schemes is true: That you recruit and run your defense to your CONFERENCE's strength. I don't see anyone in the SEC throwing 56 times a game unless they don't have to...and if they do, it's probably because they're getting beat. But that said, I think Pelini really should have scrapped the original gameplan that was made going into the game, and made adjustments. But ASU will be, at the least, 2nd in the PAC-10 this year...and I have a strong feeling that if they play against USC the way they did against us last night, they'll beat the Trojans.
Anybody that wants to fire a coach based on one opening game has clearly never watched much football. You can't judge a team or a coach on one game.
I was very upset with Pelini's defensive scheme last night and the inability to make adjustments. With that said, I'm sure he didn't think it would go that way. He will make changes and we will play much better on defense.
