See I have had this bad habit of popping that little flip tab off the top of a beer can for as long as I can remember. I guess that in itself isnt so terrible. It always helps me identify my beer amongst others. The problem is I always just drop it right into the beer. Well after many a years of laying dead brews to rest I finally drank the damn top. Hope aluminum isnt poisonous.

Im trying to convince myself that this didn't happen and that I actually threw the top away. I have been known to do this from time to time. Who knows what will happen.

If you can't be sure if you drank it or threw it away you probably drank too many beers

If tomatoe sauce can eat alumnium foil, our guts can digest a beer tab.

Having once worked in a liquor store, I can testify that beer cans are not very sanitary and are sometimes filthy. I rarely drink out of a can, much less drop a piece of it into my beer. I prefer capped bottles as being cleaner and If I'm drinking a canned beer at home, I pour it into a frozen mug out of the freezer.

That 's the way I see it too
The way canned beer is boxed these days and beer isn't stored in caves or delivered by horse drawn carts, this isn't such a big deal.
