Yeah, it was the season opener for 2007 if I remember right. In the rain. On a Thursday.

 

You know what, we might have, but I think it was the opener. I don't care for the midseason Thursday game. They play college football on Saturday for a reason.

I agree. I hate Thursday football, whether it is college or pro. Football is a weekend event.

 

Ahh yes.. it was a Thursday night in '07 the first time Zach Smith got knocked out by an LSU player.

I'm not sure if LSU has to agree to this or not, but I think they did, and the only reason is that we play Northwestern St. the week before, and it gives the team an extra two days to turn around and travel to WV.

 

Wow, only 5 days after Miss. St. plays @ Auburn.

 

This! And the entire CFB fanbase should be watching this game on thursday. Would be great to read a headline on friday that says LSU pummels MSU.
