Herbstreit said tonight categorically that he would keep USC at #1. Then proceeds to say...here comes Oklahoma. There is simply no way to jump USC when it comes from a USC kool-aid drinker with a vote. Oklahoma beat a non-ranked team today and put up 51. We a top ten and put up 3 less. What the heck does it take?:cuss:
Agreed, What do you expect from a homer like Herbstreet. He will be like Trev Alberts by the end of the year picking the demise of this LSU team and he will have egg on his face. One thing Herbie can't do is will USC to beat Oregon, Cal or UCLA. I believe the Pac 10 is better this year than previous years for what its worth. It is early however! :geauxtige
I agree, SDM. I don't know if USC will make it through undefeated, but I'm feeling better about our chances.
Corso just said he would vote OU #1 Herby said USC, LSU, OU Followed by TIGER BAIT TIGER BAIT TIGER BAIT Holtz said LSU, OU, USC:sob: Mark May I missed it.
You took the words right out of my mouth. Herpie is a putz that has no clue. Next week he will be all over Pete Carroll's jock and then up USC's A$$.
I didn't have a problem with what Corso said. It's his opinion. He can have it. He's more or less alright. Herbie, OTOH, has always seemingly had this thing against us. I can only remember him being truly positive towards us one time, and I think that was right after we beat OU in the MNC. Someone should have challenged Herbie on his USC #1 position considering what USC has not done this year. But, as said above, it doesn't really matter right now, so don't worry about him or any other talking head.
