Finally, next weekend we get to return back to the Valley to play. I tell ya, three away games in four weeks is tough on anybody, including the band. It'll be nice not to sit on a bus for 7-12 hours on Fridays and Sundays. I'm happy the way the team finished the gauntlet. I would prefer to have beaten Florida than either Auburn or UGA, if I could only pick one. Congrats on coming through, team.

I would still have preferred to have beaten AU because they are our foe in the West, and they now hold the tiebreaker over us if they lose two games (unlikely though it seems).

Agree unlikely but Tuberville is the coach.

Well it looks like we can go undefeated at home this year for the first time in a while, hopefully we don't overlook a team like bama or ole miss because they are definitely capable of playing hard football. Well after that crazy road trip i can breathe a sigh of relief and we can hopefully move up in the rankings

Arkansas I think is the fly in the ointment for everyone including Auburn. No one is paying attention to the Pigs. I think the Pigs are pretty darn good, the should have beaten Texas, aside from UF they have played pretty solid and they are flying under everyones Radar...
If we go undefeated I dont see Auburn losing 3 games.

You might be overlooking the team that has already been overlooked--Troy State. They beat Missou first game of the season. Do I think Missou is better than us? No. :nope: But the bowl projections have us playing in the Cotton Bowl against Missou--so I guess they're quality enough

If we don't prepare well for the game, Troy could threaten us. However, I don't think that will be an issue. I like Troy, and I think their program is headed in the right direction. I just think that we should blow them out of the water.

i know troy is a tough team, beating mizzou is not an easy task, i just don't think they have the athletes to match up to us, and we should beat them comfortably, maybe not like miss. st. or arky st. but maybe just a solid win
other than that i can't see any other major threats

I'd like to agree, but we're in the SEC. Anything freaking happens. Don't forget 2001. We were in the SEC championship saying, "wha' happened?"

Troy St has a pretty decent defense and if we don't come to play they can keep it close. If we come to play we beat them handily, they shouldn't score more than 10-14 on us.
