Sell replicas of the jerseys, dvd's,T-shirts, but sell it dirt cheap - the idea is to get the name out there and sell more. Why gouge the fans and to be fans?

Sell Nick Saban/Skip Bertman motivation speeches.

    LSU Dell/Gateway computers?

    Bronze busts of Saban?

How else can Skip's bunch capitalize on this and have maximum impact?

Send free batteries to Trev for his electronic..."devices"?

Also, what if LSU had something like a "Three or Five year ticket package" which included good seats, parking, etc. How well would this go over?

and where are the usc wannabe smack shirts?

I agree with a loof what you said but we can't sell smack T-shirts, let the un-licensed vendors sell those. I am not sure how the marketing thing works, don't know if LSU gets more money per item on the NC stuff but I suspect that they do. I am also wondering if LSU has any influence/control of the pricing. I would love to know exactly how it works for anyone who happens to know. And I also wonder if vendors can just use the old logo to improve sales without the new Tony the Tiger logo.

Legally, to sell it if it has LSU or LSU's likeness on it, you have to pay LSU a liscensing fee. Nike will undoutably capitalize and help spread the word, but we can help ourselves, too.
