The only ones that look worth a crap in that whole bunch are the BYU unis and that's because they went back to the more traditional design (just using navy instead of royal blue now). I hate these pimped out new unis people are getting. There's a reason that teams like Auburn, LSU, Georgia, Tennessee and Alabama have essentially the same uniform as they did 40 years ago...they never got into the habit of being trendy. And they're also among the best uniforms period.
now it must be a fact bama has some of the best unis if you barners are admitting it. i agree, I like Bama's, UGA's and AU's in our conference. preferred the old style ole myth home unis as well.
From what I've seen, the traditional major powers do not change their Uni's. All those schools that go through Identity problems are all schools that are not huge players in the grand scheme. But, LSU, Texas, Nebraska, A&M, Ohio St, big schools dont tamper with it.
maybe it's just me, but I think the best uniforms ARE the most plain ones. penn state, bama, tOSU, michigan, OU, texas, LSU... all great but penn state > *
All of those "new" unis look "Bush League". I'm a traditionalist. Keep the current LSU uniforms. Can't, and DON'T want to image LSU in anything else. Could you imagine Penn State, Notre Dame, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Alabama or Texas in new "funky" uniforms like those schools listed above?? There's a reason for schools to change uniforms (similar to NFL teams): To make additional revenue; force the fans to buy a new product. Top notch college teams don't have to worry about that. People will continue to buy replica jerseys and it won't matter that they (uniforms) haven't changed.
