THis romping of Arkansas.....what impact does it have to the picture as a whole...will the pollsters jump LSU over USC...thus greatly increasin out Sugar Bowl chances?
Not likely that the pollster's have the balls to move USC down, but LSU has put their best foot forward in trying to convince them to do so. It also helps that USC is idle this week. Here is the spread in the 2 polls: AP USC 1558 LSU 1492 Coaches USC 1510 LSU 1445 The gap for these 2 polls has to be decreased to less than half, in my opinion, to have any chance to overtake USC after next week's games. Less than a 30 point spread is preferred. And it would take a dominant effort against whoever they play in the SEC CG as well to sway any more voters LSU's way. The coach's poll comes out at about 11 AM on Sunday. The AP comes out about 3 PM.
