What if the National Championship were decided boxing/wrestling style?

    I wonder who would be the National Champion right now if the championship were awarded to the team that beat the previous champion on the field. I suppose to find out we would have to pick a start date. Has anyone ever documented this, or am I just weird? :cool:

    If we start in 03, Auburn finally wins the title when they beat us hahah only to lose their title to Georgia Tech :bncry:

    Then Georgia Tech loses it to Virginia Tech on 9/24.

    Virginia Tech loses it to Miami this past weekend, so it looks like Miami's the National Champ :)

    At least starting with LSU's title.

    The winner of this bout, and NEEEEEWWW National Champion... The HURRICANES!!
