We're going to dear old Mom's. She reports that she ordered a smoked ham from Grayson's and she's making cornbread dressing, gravy, corn on the cob and green bean casserole.

Me, I'm picking up a pecan pie and a cherry pie from Lea's in Lecompte. Easy gig.

Mom is making swiss corn bake, homemade macaroni and cheese, anti-sage cornbread dressing, cranberry sauce, pecan pie, etc.

    Dad is frying a turkey.

I am baking a butterfinger cake.

Suggestion: Offer to stop by and pick up the ham. That way, you can sneak a chip beef on a homemade bun......none better. :thumb:

I'm going to smoke a turkey this evening (after I figure out how to roll it).

Tomorrow-baked acorn squash, brussel sprouts w/ walnuts and sherry, and a butterscotch pie. :)
