    Every week they do it after their last NFL game. They have a double header today, so after the Saints game – 6:30 or so…

    They have already released the results for the BCS poll and LSU didn't move much, but some other teams sure leap frogged.

    I thought that would just guarantee that they would be eligible for consideration by the BCS bowl committees, but not be guaranteed a BCS bowl invitation. Isn't that how that works?

    Nope, it would be a BCS bowl if they finish 12 or higher. They added a 5th BCS bowl this year to give the non-BCS conferences a shot at the money.
