I was tempted to go with the hook and ladder because of the complexity of the play and the fact that I don't think they could have scored from 50 yards out with so little time. However, the stones of the coach to bust out the old school Statue of Liberty and go for the jugular with the 2 point conversion...well, that's what college football is all about. Unbelievable!
I voted for wr to te only because that seems to be the hardest of the 3. That statue of liberty was second for me, that was simply amazing!
The entire gameplan was amazing to watch. But the two point play was perfect. They fooled OK so bad Johnson could have done cart wheels to the endzone.
I don't think I have ever seen a team convert as many, "must have," plays that were all executed that well. And what is even more impressive about the execution was that the Boise players all knew they had a perfect season on the line.
I totally agree. The game had me on the edge the entire ending. The hook and ladder was the biggest, i mean how often do u convert a 4th and 18 with 20 seconds to go at midfield, just amazing.
I started off rooting for OU, just because I didn't want to hear about how the "mid majors" deserve a shot all next year. It only took about a quarter for me to switch sides. Classy players and good coaches, they deserved to win. Plus, I ****ing hate stoops.
One of the best BCS bowl games finish..just unbelievable starting with giving up an interception touchdown just over a minute to go, and roaring back with key clutch plays to tie the game. Then with two very creative plays to win the game. They are very deserving of being the Fiesta bowl champions.:thumb: Again what a finish. Too bad the polling does not contain the choice "all of the above". That is what I would have picked:wink: P.s. Actually I was rooting for the underdog because I don't like Stoops.
I too was looking for the all of the above button.The 4th and 18 play was by far one of the most amazing plays I have ever seen.Now if they could only have gotten the water boy in the game on defense-------
Its the Hook and Ladder, and this is why................... When the WR caught the ball and contuined to run into the middle, EVERY SINGLE PERSON watching the game was SCREAMING at the kid for being retarded and not getting out of bounds. Its ok to admit it, I was doing it too. Not only did it have us faked out, EVERY single OU baller swarmed to the middle of the field and NO ONE covered the guy streaking across. It was a work of Art!
