How are they going to spin this one ? Will anybody actually call Patricia out ? I doubt it. I guess all those polls ESPN had about this USC team vs. every other good team that ever wore cleats is moot eh ? HEY PATRICIA, you lost it for your boys, ha, ha, ha !
If you're lucky enough to get ESPNU today you can watch WALL - TO - WALL USC!!!!!!!!!!!!!! USC vs UCLA, USC vs Oregon, etc, etc.................boy, wonder who ESPN thought was going to win?
I thought I saw Fowler, Herbstreit, and Saunders shed a tear last night.... Bunch of pansies... "USC wins by 2 touchdowns, Texas will not be able to stop them in the 2nd half" The Infamous Kirk Herbstreit
Simple- they abandon their alliegances in one night. They now have Texas to drool over. Vince Young is instantly one of the greatest football players in the history of the game. Hell, Texas is getting on the Weaties box, the first CFB team on the box since Nebraska in 97.
Not just the hacks at ESPN but the brethren at ABC are too, especially friggin Keith Jackson. I was getting really sick and tired of hearing his unabashed bias towards SC. Even Dan Fouts, who is a former Pac 10 star, was having to make comments to offset, thwart some of the obvious bias statements by Jackson. My opinion of him continues to slide. Yes, the folks are in the process of hanging black ribbons around the compound in Bristol.
Did anybody catch Leinart's classless statement after the game? "I still think we are the better team, they just made the plays tonight" Talk about a sore loser. Then this morning, I watched the ESPN rundown of the game and all they said regarding Leinart's postgame activities was how he and Bush went into the Texas lockerroom to congratulate them. ESPN called that mover very "classy." Funny, no mention of the earlier statement.
If I were a Texas player I really wouldn't want Bush and Leinart coming into my lockerroom. Say your piece on the field and stay out of my team's territory.
