Texas had a good season. They just fell short of the BCS because of a rule that I think needs to be changed. 11-2 is nothing to be ashamed of... only three teams did better. If Texas wins out, they'll be ranked 3rd or 4th overall - nothing to be ashamed of. It's not a championship, but did anyone project a championship out of them before the season?

Who cares? What is important is how today's events affect LSU's chances to play for the NC in the Sugar bowl.
