I here there has been some bad blood between them since Mangini was hired away by the Jets. Anybody have the 411 on this? Belichick looked disgusted to have to shake his hand after that horrible loss yesterday. I think he may have even wiped his hand on his pants (or sweater) afterwards to get rid of the germs. What up?
The rumor is that Mangini recruited players to go to the Jets with him after the Broncos loss last year. I dont believe that, though. Belichick is just a weirdo with no social skills. Or maybe Mangini ran at the handshake in fear of picking up 34 STD's off of Beli's stolen sweatshirt.
There are alot of factors there. The two organizations hate each other for starters. Plus, I think there is still some stuff going on about the Deon Branch "tampering" thing at the beginning of the season.
You nailed it :thumb: at least according to Chris Mortenson on ESPN. He just reported that the Branch issue is the root of the problem. That and Belichick has the personality of a light bulb. :lol: Good stuff. Send your resume to ESPN in the event they can Mortenson.
