Difference is, Saban took crap and made it a winner.. smoke is going in the opposite direction... Once you lose that mystique of being the best, then you are in trouble.. ask miami football... they arent feared anymore... same goes with LSU baseball...
So getting to the cws, college baseball's championship series, nearly every year is not good enough. Yet for football, losing two games and not competing for the championship is fine. Ok.
