If we are supposed to have the most talented WR core in the nation, then why don't we use it? I was at the game, and it was awful to see run, run, run, run, run.......and never even try to let our athletes make a play downfield. Bottom line. We were out-coached. Talent can only take a team so far......and it showed tonight.
 We have an All American track star in Carter (did he even play one down?) and another receiver that competed in the Olympics (Brazell) and we didn't even take one freakin' shot down field.
I didn't see Carter on the field (I guess I could have missed him, but I doubt it), we never took a shot deep, and I'm not sure they realized you could call a play action pass. The flea flicker was great though.
Great point! Where was the play action???? All night long, even when we were up by 21, I kept saying "this would be a perfect time for playaction." I got all of those calls wrong. However, I knew for a fact that every single time Hester was in the game, he was getting the ball some way. Predictable. I got sick of hearing the announcers call our plays correct all 2nd half. Hell if Bob Davie knows what the hell we were running, we're screwed.
The sad part is.....is that everyone around us in the stadium was saying the same thing....."the would be the perfect time for a play action pass." It never came. Soooo......everyone that said we should give Pelini a chance......it was given.......and he's still a chump!
How often has Jimbo ever gone long since he has been at LSU. Strike Rohan's senior season and LSU has had a inconsistant, predictable, white-bread offense since Fisher has been here. I had hoped that an "offensive mind" like Miles' would open up the offense but it's the same ol' crap.
My thoughts exactly. If these guys can't put some pressure on a defense, I'm not sure who could. Lots of guns were never fired in this one.
