Oh contraire, monfraire (spelling Nazi's, descend and correct those, please)... The old America's Pub, with enough accommodations for at least a thou or so, will be opened to handle "overflow" traffic...Estimates are that 7,000 fans will make the Atrium... If you think LSU will have more than 7G's in the stands, you're smoking the white clouds of Opium...
Sadly the recruting bash will have more people. Not that it is a bad thing that lots of people are going to the recruiting bash but the fact that basketball can't draw over about at the most 8,000 people tomorrow.
I just hope you guys stop and think about this question... This is an off-season gathering with food, beer, and faxes...and it will outdraw a SEC HOME BASKETBALL GAME! LSU won't have more fannies in the seats tomorrow than the Box will have for Smoke's opener in a few weeks... Book it...and lament it...but, stop and think...Who is to blame?
requested French correction au contraire mon frère literal: to the contrary my brother but a better loose translation of Corso's: "Not so fast my friend!"
I took Spanish, but I used the phrase more as a euphimism...I appreciate the note the spelling correction...
ne riens! (don't mention it!) (i took more than my fair share of French... although my Portuguese is better, but that's another story)
Weird...My HS Spanish II teacher spoke fluent Portugese... I was far from the best student in HS, especially in my foreign languages (The only class I ever got an F in...back in my 9th grade year)... I remember seeing my Spanish II teacher one summer at LSU taking classes, and actually taking a Greek Mythology course with me...One day she stopped me, crying, telling me how much I had restored her faith in people... I was like, WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? She said that she considered me her worst student-EVER, and that the transformation for me from brash, sarcastic, unhumorous junior and senior to a brash, sarcastic, bookwormish know-it-all (though somewhat humorous), junior in college was pretty weird for her... One of the few times I was truly "flustered" by a compliment...Or is it just one of the few times I was complimented in my life? LOL!
