Whitworth is the only Tiger playing in the East West Shrine game this weekend. Today was the first practice and reports are that he is by far the most impressive Offensive lineman out there.

Great news for him, He needs to reclaim his spot among the best available so he can get paid this April.

He got back in the grove for the Peach Bowl & I'm glad to hear he's stayed in it. A solid combine should bring his draft stock back up to where he was after the 04 season.

Whit can only improve his draft status. He has such an upside and I wish him the best.

This is the Shrine game, the Senior Bowl is the following week. Skyler, Williams, and Addai will be in that game.

Senior Bowl is the best of the best, but that doesn't mean Whitworth wasn't good enough to play in it. He may have turned them down because he wanted to play in the Shrine Bowl, though that's not usual.

The Senior Bowl invites all of the top athletes, receives answers and then invite more if they need to fill rosters because of turn downs. Most that turn them down are those who are already considered first rounders or those who feel they do not need to prove anything else.
