Let's think about the SEC for a moment shall we? Let's assume we win out... Auburn loses to Georgia mean we will face a good Georgia team in the SECCG... If Auburn wins... We will probably face a decent Florida team again... plagued with injuries... Let's look at this Florida team.... We give them the ball 5 times... and they still cannot beat us... Vandy has 4 turnovers.... and Florida can barely pull off a win.... ..... in double OT..... ....against VANDY!!! I don't care about the Rose Bowl anymore.. If we are meant to go there, we will.... The team will get the job done... But... our best chance to win the SEC is through Florida... So right now.... Go Tigers! and Go Gators..... Ugh... that was painful.... And of course... GEAUX TIGERS.... if we don't get the job done ourselves, then it doesn't matter....
Florida might be an easier victory, but a win against Georgia would likely result in a ranking boost. I'd like to take our chances with Georgia.
Geaux plainsmen, watch your tigers, and chant War Eagle over and over as Auburn runs up the score on Georgia!
i think that aburn will beat georgia but i want to play georgia in the SECCG for a little pay back from last year.
I feel the exact same way. I think, and want, Auburn to beat Georgia, but I want Georgia in the SECCG also.
I will be pulling for UGA. My goal is to get to Atlanta, we can worry about that game when we get there. If we beat Bama and then have the letdown loss to Ole Piss(it's happened before) we need Bama and AU to have 2 losses each so we get a 3 way tie in which we won head to head against both Bama and AU. So geaux dogs. Of course this scenario would require us to pull for Auburn in the Iron bowl.
Shockley has actually had 3 weeks to prepare for what Auburn will bring to Athens. If Georgia can't get it done with two weeks to prepare and in front of a home crowd, then Georgia doesn't deserve to be in the SEC CG. Right now, Georgia is favored by 4.5, but it should be a hard fought battle and will be won by the team that wants it more. I hope its decisive. Depending on field goals to win stinks.
