i dont think Louisville will win it...My money is with UNC. If for some reason they don't win it, i believe Michigan State can pull it off. (first team ever to beat Duke and Kentucky in the same NCAA tourney)

I think once Illinois got past what should have been a loss, I just think they are destined now.

Here's my Top Ten reasons it will be the Illini and MSU in the FINALS (5 each):
    1) MSU has the studs to "slow down" Sean May.
    2) MSU plays better defense.
    3) Izzo is a better "one game" coach.
    4) MSU is much better shooting free throws.
    5) Any team that has a guard named Foster Brooks (UNC) may have a drinking problem.

    1) Illinois has the defenders to stop a perimeter game.
    2) Illinois' only weakness is down low... and Louisville isn't the team to take advantage of it.
    3) Louisville had the easiest bracket... with Washington the #1 seed and Wake falling early.
    4) Illinois' seniors will show up.
    5) Rick Pitino's hairdo looks too much like Steve Alford's.

Wish I was right more often!

I picked Louisville, but, whoever wins, I figure we can fire Brady and get their coach because we're LSU and we can get anybody we want because we won the football NC and 5 baseball NCs and we have a great Womens' basketball team and we won all of those track NCs and, doggone it, people like us.

I will no longer stand for a coach who has chipmunk like jowls, dates younger women, gets thrown out of restaurants and doesn't know his Xs & Os. Anyway, rumor is that he'll be fired about 12 hours ago because he did something on a bus and players got in his face.

It would benefit me greatly if either Louisville or Mich. St. won it. Everyone else in my pool (which is already screwed anyway) has either Illinois or UNC winning. All I have is Illinois losing, along with UNC in the semi-finals, so maybe it could help me out!

I'm guessing an Illinois/Mich St final just because they are from the same conference and for some reason that seems to be somewhat of a happening in NCAA hoops.
