I'm in a quandary. Michigan is top 5, ND is 14. If LSU and ND win does that give LSU a shot at top 10? Would the Irish biased media jump ND over LSU? I know it's only game 3 and rankings don't mean squat, but, still, I'd like to see the Tigers in the top 10 but I'd hate to pull for ND under any circumstances.
That really is a hard call. I think if Notre Dame wins the media WILL jump them over LSU and WON'T drop Michigan below us either. So I think Notre Dame winning is a lose/lose situation for LSU. Like I always say: my two favorite teams are LSU and whoever is playing Notre Dame.
I think a Michigan win is more beneficial. ND drops depending on how badly they lose. With a win over West Ill, I bet we move to 10 on the dot...depends on other games.
Thanks guys, I needed a reason to pull against the domers. Actually, a 3-3 tie would serve my purposes since the national media types are just itching to have an orgasm over Navarre. And with no TDs I wouldn't have to see Ty Willingham point that scrawny finger in the air. How about "Hey, if I don't signal otherwise, we're going for one".
