I've heard that yall will most likely be going with Andrew Hatch. Is that true? How's he been looking in practice? We're going through the same thing on the plains. Auburn had a closed scrimmage the other day so we're still in the dark. I think Todd is gonna get the nod because of his knowledge of the offense. Anyways, haven't been over here in a while so just stopping by to say congrats on the NC win and here's to what will most likely be another fantastic LSU-Auburn game this year.

*sorry, didn't see the huge thread about the QB situation

Thanks for stopping by! OK, you found the thread, that's good. We expect all 3 to play, Hatch to get the initial nod, then see if anyone looks better in real game conditions, at least that's what I glean from here. We have at least 4 regular Auburn posters here, looking for a fifth. Come by regular starting 2 weeks before the game, things will WARM up then! Will need chain mail underwear by then though, barbs will be flying! :yelwink2:

The Auburn game has become a highlight of our season, if not THE highlight. The winner the last 7 years has been a major factor in the west, probably going to Atlanta 5 times. It's an important game, and usually close, well played, fierce defense on both sides. Year in and year out, it has become a classic.

OK, we gotta go to your place this year. With our problem at QB, you guys will be the favorite. An upset is possible. You will be inexperienced at QB as well, that will level the field a bit. We think our o-line and d-line will be stout. Let's play another classic!

Is Todd the pocket passer, or the dual threat guy?

Sounds like the identical situation we are in.

Todd is a gunslinger. He is versed in the spread...but not as a runner. More like spread the field with wideouts and play pitch and catch with quick outs and crossing routes.

I knew his dad when I was in high school...including when he was born. But never knew him. His dad was a good friend of my brother, and played college ball himself, but as an LB. As far as I know, his dad is a high school coach now...and was his coach.

I agree that Chris Todd will start at AU this year, by the way.
