For those blaming Carter I guess you forgot that JV and Jacob Hester fumbled the ball, turned it over. I understand a freshman doing this but shame on JV for that. Whats with the sloppy play this year. Mistackling, turnovers and the missed Xtra points. Maybe we would've beat AU in ot last week? Turnovers cost games not what Carter did, it was nothing more than a penalty of sorts. We're lucky there is no penalty for Skylers fair catch that he started to run down the field on. Everything listed here makes me think the "players" don't have the concentration level they need to compete like they had last year. Its not there and the coaches can't force it into them, they need to do it for themselves.
Not just his fault XC's mistake was costly, but it was far from being the only one. As Blackledge pointed out, UGA took advantage of every mistake we made. He stopped there, but he could have continued...and they've made no mistakes for LSU to take advantage of.
Who is blaming Carter for the loss? JV looks horrible, how many fumbles does he have? Like 4? I hope our offense can step it up for the Florida game.
