1. I noticed the last couple of years this happening more and more.

What is up with that? Nobody picked up the game, obviously, and yet the game starts in daylight.

    Not getting it.
  2. Wow, even the mediocre networks affect out start times.

    That's sad.
  3. Actually I heard LSU had the choice between 7:00 and 6:00. They chose 6 for recruiting purposes.
  4. I imagine its just tv scheduling. 6 pm kickoff leaves time for a late west coast game.
  5. I don't mind the 6 p.m. games AFTER DST occurs. As long as it's dark...I'm happy!

    At least it's not a 12:30 / 2:30 / 3:30 time slot.
  6. Honestly we should be thankful that its at 6. Now that all SEC games are televised live, it could have been on ESPN U at 11:00 a.m. CSS shows an occasional SEC game at 6 but that network isn't available in Louisiana, which kinda messes up them showing an LSU home game. To have the McNeese State game on live TV at 6 is pretty sweet, really.
  7. yeah i thought when the espn deal came thru i had visions of playing cupckaes at noon.

i'll take the 6 pm start. (and yes, i know this is fox not espn)
  8. We had Vandy at 6 PM on ESPNU.
  9. ESPN 3 is also carrying it. FWIW. It's how I watch all my non CBS LSU games.
  10. Yep, ESPN3 is really cool.
