    :dis:

I thought the Huskers were trying to take a step up in coaching not a step down. Arkansas could come out smelling like a rose getting Solich(sp?) and getting rid of the Nutcase without having to buy him out.

Sometimes you feel like a Nutt. Sometimes you don't.

The nebraska AD screwed up by firing Solich with no one to take
his place so now he's desperately searching for someone because its now going to affect recruiting.

Didn't the AD say he wasn't going to sit there and watch Nebraska move towards mediocrity?

Solich was in the National Championship game two years ago. He's won a Big XII title, been to 2 BCS Bowls and was about to get his 4th 10-win season in 7 years.

Nutt, who took the Arkansas job the same year Solich started at NU, went 9-3, 8-4, 6-6, 7-5, 9-5 and is now 9-4. No conference championships. No BCS bowls. Isn't that mediocrity?

I'm guessing it's because of Nutt's dedication to the running game--which, to be honest, Arkansas has had a pretty good running game.

Nebraska and it's fans will NEVER veer away from the running game--no matter how much the game of college football changes, they will live and die by the run.
