why is most of the media picking LSU?
  1. Corso and Herbstreit rarely ever pick the same team in a big game, but both pick LSU. The same with Maisel and Forde and on and on. I mean I think that LSU has a very good shot at winning, but with Shockley healthy, LSU's lack of a running game and a new coach I don't get why most of the media is picking LSU. Almost everyone I know is very worried about the game, I hope the media sees something that we don't.
  2. I truly believe that since they pick against LSU most of the time and it doesn't work they will go with picking them to see if they lose. ESPN is ridiculous, also they must see something I don't for them to say we will win with no argument. I believe we will win but it will be a good ole fashion sec sloberknocker.:helmet:
  3. I'm not worried, I think the Tigahs will make a statement tonight and play that game we know they are capable of.
    It's been a slow week around here considering the gravity of this game and that shows me a winning attitude that I've never seen before in Tigerland.
    We fully expect to win tonight, what a nice change instead of hoping and praying for a miracle. :tigerhead
  4. An LSU win depends on 2 things:

    1) If Shockley is accurate in his passing, it could spell trouble for LSU defense. Even if you bring the blitz to rattle him, he is very dangerous scrambling. If Shockley is hitting his WR's well, then UGA will spread the field a lot if LSU Brings the blitzes so that Shockley can gain big yards if he has to run, because their will be no help from the DB's and LB's to tackle him

    2) Our offense has to come out early and score. The offense has been less than stellar and down right bad at times. They rarely come out and score much in the first half. We must get the running game going and the WR's must catch passes. The offense, IMO is the key to this game.

    As Corso eloquently puts it, if we want to win we must score more points.

    JK, it's now acceptable to use "media" singularly when used collectively (as in TV, newspapers, magizines, Internet, etc as a whole) But...

    We'll knock the crap out of UGA, that's all that matters!
  6. Because LSU has a balanced offense and does NOT lack a running game. What team have you been watching?

    And because the new coach is WINNING.
