I know this doesn't involve LSU, but why did the people at Boise State think it was a good idea to make the field blue? To make it worse, the endzone is orange.

The Field Is Blue Because No special reason other than the fact that it is blue. In 1986 Boise State requested the Special color turf for the entire Field instead of just the end zone and is the only school in the Nation with a field colored in a special color. They are probably going to replace this astro turf with blue field turf. ITS SO LOUD YOUR DEAF
For the first year or so they had geese and other water fowl flying into it and killing themselves. The birds would think it was water and come in low and fast and "SMASH!!!!!" another dead bird. I saw it for the first time when KKKlempson Taters bought their way into the Humiliation Bowl last year. They actually made the announcement to the viewers not to adjust their set, the field is supposed to be blue!!!!
