There are a number of threads on next week's game, and I haven't looked at them all. Why is the game not being played in Shreveport? That would at least give us a "home" game by keeping it in state.

Part of the issue in Baton Rouge was hotel space and related issues. The same issues exist in Shreveport. All of the hotels are booked in Shreveport as well, and 2000 evacuees are in Hirsch Coliseum right next to Independence Stadium. Logistically, if it didn't make since in BR, it didn't make since in Shreveport.

Because if we played in Sherveport then ASU fans may never get to see what Saturday night in Tiger Stadium is like. Something that no true college football fan should miss. :hihi:

And since the game was not swapped with the 08 game I hope they never do.

So if the game was NOT swapped, then does that mean that we get the "home share" for the game??

I've brought that point up numerous times and the reason for doing so is that what situation is the school (LSU) in in terms of those tickets already paid for--for a game in Tiger Stadium??? Refund everyone??? Then if that's the case, our athletic department is in some serious "red", giving us 2 games already, not played at home.
