Instead of a rhetorical question, I decided to turn this into a trivia question. I'm in the process of buying 13 vehicles for our business and the only vendor in the country that can supply what I need is in Columbus, Ohio. The sales rep is a former player from another school named John Sells. Can any of you tell me what he is famous for, as it relates to LSU football...I think it was around 1986...a very sad day in LSU football, one I've been trying to forget. There are enough clues here, shouldn't be too hard for LSU fans, although it took me a couple of days to make the connection. John dropped some hints before I got it. And now the rhetorical question...."Will I burn in hell, or suffer any bad Karma for making this purchase and if so can you suggest a penance?"
Did he cause the fumble referenced in this article that ended the game? http://www.enquirer.com/editions/2002/09/13/spt_miami_can_repeat.html
Was he that big white running back for Miami (OH) that ran up and down the field that night in rain-socked Tiger Stadium.
For penance you could sit in the LSU student section for the Auburn game wearing and Auburn T Shirt and cap. Hey it could be worse. You could always go to an Oakland Raiders game wearing a Broncos jersey.
