If my facts are correct, the new stadium will allow the highest capacity for a football game in Louisiana history. And the Tennessee game should definitely sell out. So my question is....

"Will new head coach Les Miles home debut against Tennessee be the largest crowd to watch a football game in the history of Louisiana?"

What are your facts? The upgrade will only add about 200 seats to the capacity, but with the hurricane and the construction, it's probable that at least that many won't attend.

So you're saying you don't believe the stadium will be completely filled Saturday night?

I don't think it will be filled either it's on tv but there is about an 80% chance of rain due to the storm.

    Uh, not likely.

Yes, all tickets are sold, but I doubt you'll see a butt in every single seat.

I hope I'm wrong, but I think they'll be a few thou short of a full house.

All very good points, don't get me wrong, but I still think there's a potential for a record crowd.

If it rains, which looks pretty likely, then absolutely not.

Not a chance, I'm thinking. I know a lot of Tennessee fans ain't coming--no rooms. A lot of New Orleans fans are living in Texas or Chreveport and can't get a local hotel room, they ain't coming either. A lot of folks probably left their tickets at home and can't get to them, now. LSU has a system for helping such people, but how many don't know about it?

Plus it will probably be a rain game, so the old geezers, the candy asses, and the trophy dates won't be coming.

We will be lucky to seat 80,000.

    The sellout will come later.

I think 80,000 is a bit low too. I think most diehard LSU fans will find a way to make it to the game. We shall see though.
