Very questionable, IMO. I would think they needed to go with another offensive tactician to get that unit back on track. I like him, but I don't think he's ready for a job of this magnitude. Not to mention, since leaving Saban's tutelage, Mus has produced some very average defenses at one of the most talent-laden schools in America.

I guess it depends on who he surrounds himself with. I'd say it won't look like the gaytors we are used to seeing but I'm not ready to call it a failure before it even starts. I bet the OBC likes the hire though.
This is a very interesting angle. I was talking to a friend the other day and he mentioned Will being the CIW out there. I said if Mac has another year like this one he may not have to wait long. Guess we will never know about that one but yes, this does suck for the bong horns and I'm not the least bit sorry to hear about it. The more coaches playing musical chairs only raises our chances of getting rid of some of ours.
