There has been much speculation, but no proof, that the SEC has influenced the way the games are called if the games involved placing a team in the NC. Obviously, the SEC wants two SEC teams in the NCG. Many here have felt that LSU has been on the wrong end of some of these calls. Do you think Ark will suffer the same fate? Personally, I try to stay positive and I do not buy into the conspiracy theories. But it sure does make you wonder when you look at the LOW number of flags that go against the number 1 SEC team. But maybe the team is number 1 because they don't make many penalites? I hope it does not come down to a questionable call, but not as much as the Ark fans do. GEAUX!
Sorry, I meant to say the LOW number of flags thrown on the #1 SEC team. I saw a thread on the Ark forum that stated they were worried about the calls going against them. I guess every team has that worry. My question is simply, do you believe the SEC is involved?
I hope that VT goes down and Okie St smokes OK, so that the choice is made by the voters. I guess we are a bunch of homers. The ref's are only against us, never for us.
Who says we can't have our cake and eat it too? If the refs were going to be against LSU, I think we would've seen in in the Alabama game. Fair and impartial refs, please. I don't want the Piggies having anything to whine about while licking their post-game wounds.
