Will this bring LSU's 2003 title any validation?

Will the media finally give some credit?

 

So far, so good.

 

I voted no, but I certainly don't think this will hurt. Heck, even Sportscenter just acknowledged that LSU fans have to be excited about not having to hear about a USC three-peat.

 

I would LOVE to say that this gives this whole "3-peat" or "repeat" some closure and people can start remembering that it IS LSU that owns the title of National Champ instead of this "USC looking to 3-peat" and when LSU is mentioned it was "LSU, co-National Champs with USC in '03".... But as much as I would love for LSU to regain some of that lost credit, I doubt it...the media is just SOOOOOO hung up on USC it makes me sick....

But at least, with Texas winning, I can rest easier now knowing that I don't have to hear any more of this "3-peat" crap....last time I checked, USC only had ONE crystal football trophy.

USC will still be 2003-2004 NC's in many's eyes

 

I don't think LSU or LSU fans need to validate anything cause everyone knows who won it in 03' they just kiss USC's @$$ so they would stop whining about it.

 

No one can take away LSU's "validation". We won a crystal trophy - that's all there is to it. USC's attempt at a 3-pete had no bearing on it.

 

Yup. The press just bent the rules of the championship to suit their bias or favoritism for USuCkin 2003. As far as the BCS championship game, there is only one, period. There should never be a schism like that in 2003 with creation of two champions; doesn't make much sense.

usc won a poll which was a component of 2003 Title. You don't need to validate anything, and usc can't validate their claim.
