I know Louisiana has some big time prospects and with all the hype the 2011 class has been getting, could that class be ranked #1 when it is all said and finished?
I believe if we nab all the big fish in the state and get our usual 4 star players out of Texas, Georgia, etc. then yes LSU could very well end up #1 in 2011. It will be a very good year for Louisiana recruits. Belated welcome the forum, btw!

It could be. It looks like another top-5 class though. If we can turn Freak Johnson from TN.. we have a very good shot at #1 overall. It looks to be a smaller class.. that will impact our ranking.
Keep in mind we only need to get 20 recruits for it to matter. Now of course if 4 or 5 are 3 star, then getting more than 20 with the extras being 4 star would matter. Just depends on what we get in that batch of 20. If they are all 4 and 5 star, then we can easily end up 1st overall with just 20 recruits. Ask USC.
Exactly I keep picturing a 20-22 prospects next year dominated by in-state guys with a few from Texas, etc... and pushing for the top spot next year.
