1. When Randall leaves LSU? Will any of you guys miss him at all?

I won't be glad to see him go, but won't be disappointed because I can't wait until Russell and Flynn get all the playing time.
  2. I think he will get a very loud cheer come Senior Day @ Tiger Stadium. He has stuck with this program for 5 years and has wanted nothing more than to win! Its always sad to see players play their last games @ Tiger Stadium.
  3. I feel the same way.

The one thing I would like to see happen at LSU, would be our ability to hold onto players longer (basically keeping those outstanding Jr's from leaving 1 year too early). I know it has to be impossible to pass up the money and chance to play in the NFL, and no one wants to see these guys risk injury by sticking around 1 year too long. But I feel we will really come into our own as power football school when we can keep some of those Jr players from leaving early. When coming back for that final year is important, because it is expected that they come back and help this team reach it's goals.

Anyway, Randall will get a great send off for his final game, and so will the other seniors. Randall is part of LSU folklore, the QB who brought us the Blue Grass Miracle. But some of these other seniors, who never saw the field, are to be respected as well . . . they also helped turn LSU around and make this one of the best programs in the country.
  4. What can I say; Randall totally redeemed his self against Florida. I will miss him. He should get to start the rest of the year.
  5. Regardless of what he did at Florida, he is a great Tiger, and a good example for the younger guys, he is a team player never complains always team first, He may not be a great QB, but he is a great Tiger, he played well at UF, something to be proud of...

He will always be in tiger lore for the Blue Grass Miracle.

I dont know him personally, but from what I see he seems to be a great kid and a good team player.

I wish him all the success, and although I myself have screamed "SIT HIM DOWN". When civility comes back, I realize he is doing his best to help the tigers....

He is what a Tiger should be.
  6. Yes, amen, ditto !
  7. i will give him a big ovation come the ole miss game when he plays his last in tiger stadium, oh by the way dd tiger fan- the dude abides
  8. Randall is a great tiger.. he is all about THE TEAM.. ill take 1 randall over 50 bigtime players who only care about their numbers.
  9. There's still a lot of the season to go. I am hoping I will miss him as much as Mauck. I can only say I've met him once and he was nice enough.

As far as JaMarcus and Flynn go, I really want to see more from Flynn. Those 2 INT against the Gators have damn near cured my "I want to see Jamarcus" itch. Matter of fact, I would have understood if Saban had cut him after that game. Jamarcus strikes me as a Ryan Leaf/Chris Rix type (except Leaf flopped on the pro level). He needs to listen to Jimbo and Nick more and not rely so much on what he thinks he can do.
  10. How many time could Randle transferred to another program and played a lot more. He stuck around and was patient. He loves LSU just as much as any of us and he has proven that more than once. ALL of us have jumped on his case about his quarterbacking skills, but you never once heard him complain, never worried about himself. He is the ultimate TEAM player and I am proud that he is a Tiger. I hope that my children can grow up and learn to handle the hard times like this young man has. :eek:ldskule:

    Thank you Marcus Randle. :geaux:
